Our holiday packing check list will help you start off on the right foot.

Firstly you must follow the golden rule:

Only organise when your husband and children are not home!

Why are we disorganised?  If you live on your own, everything stays in place, but families are a different story.   *  a family has access to everything and generally do not return things  *  if something does not have a PLACE assigned to it, we start to SHOVE  *  after shoving, comes CRAMMING  *  and then we just try to shut the door faster than things fall out  *  some people buy far too much 'stuff'  *  others keep absolutely everything  *  and some have husbands that even keep what's broken!

The best thing you can do is throw out your existing diary or calendar!

You will never get organised if you have more than 1 system in place.

Each component included in my.organiser, has a specific function.
After a while, you will customise them to suit your way of thinking.

 We all have 100's of digital photos on our computers but why you should take the time to sort and file your digital photos?

* it's quicker to scroll through them when you're looking for a particular photo  *  it makes backing up a lot quicker and easier  *  and down loading future photos onto your computer will be more organised.

How do you file?  Do you file by first name, last name, company name.......?

Home or work, you need an effective filing system!

The linen press is one of those areas the whole family has access to, so it needs good, simple organisation.

The golden rule when organising your linen press is to:

Work from your 'prime position' first.
