Multipurpose Shelf
There are many places we'd like another shelf - this is one we use frequently. It's almost square [W28.5cm x D30cm x H17cm] so it fits into alot of places.
It's great in kitchen cupboards to divide bowls and casserole dishes, so you don't have to lift out 4 to get to the one you want. It's also great for the pantry, under the kitchen sink, laundry cupboards and bottom of wardrobes. You can even put it on your desk and put a small printer on top, so the paper can go underneath!
As you can see in the photo, a standard basket also fits underneath for easy access.
At $8.95 from Howards Storage World it's very versatile.

One Touch Disc Storage
This system is great if you're short on space and big on CD's and DVD collections.
The discs are stored in a protective envelope, inside the drawers, so it does mean you have to part with the DVD covers etc.
But as the saying goes... You can't have your cake and eat it too.
While the price is not cheap, you get what you pay for. Available in many sizes and colours from Howards Storage World.

Multiple Peg Hanger
Sally Ann has been using this for a while and convinced me to try it.
OK I'm convinced.
Yes, you've still got to hang out the thousand socks and undies, but the beauty of this product is, it saves a HUGE amount of clothes line space, not to mention the pegs and when it's time to bring in the washing you simply unhook 1 thing instead of 1000 individual items. Which is great when it looks like rain!
Available from discount stores and Howards Storage World and retail around $10.00.

A good pen drawer organiser. Boring we know, but, you go to this drawer 100 times a day and as this is part of your information hub, that runs the family, it's worth spending 5 minutes getting it organised for the year. Hard to believe, but one of us (Tricia) has only just decided to fix the mess in her desk top drawer. There are many on the market, some cheap some not so cheap.
Tip: If your desk top is crowded with computers and equipment, move your pens etc. to the top drawer.

Belt Hanger - with a twist!
This product has been around for years - BUT here's a NEW use for it.
How many camisole's/singlet tops do you have? 5 black ones, 10 white ones, brown, red, v-neck, round-neck.... how do you store them?
Instead of hanging 10 camisoles on the 1 coat-hanger, and then having to remove 4 to get to the one you want, simply buy one of these belt coat-hangers and hang then individually on each hook. Brilliant!
You can pick these up just about anywhere from $2 shops to department stores and Howards Storage World.
Got a teenage daughter? (stop rolling your eyes), it organises their ten thousand singlet tops beautifully.
